i wouldn’t get a macbook for graphic art..i have one and i don’t even think there is an application for it..u can try a windows computer or a computer thats actually used for art and all that stuff..other than that a macbook is good for taking pictures, editing, going on the internet, i don’t think it has games, etc..hope that helps
i dont think u can dwnload vista on it, but if u do find a way i dont think it will be as good as vista on a windows computer. but i think the macbook is rlly great for games, art and work. and a 13 inch is a good size.

idk if vista will work…i think its only for PC’s
not sure about the Vista but as for everything else you can do the same with a mac as you can with a PC. Programs if you’re buying them sometimes are a little more expensive, but most things now have Mac capability.
A friend of mine has both, and uses both is PC and his Macbook for graphic art. In the search to find out if one was better then the other, with corresponding programs and the like, he found that the only difference was the operating systems. Vista on his PC and I’m guessing Linux or something like that on the Mac… and found both to operate the same. with the same speeds. His conclusion after running tests is they are the same.
Definitely, There’s no point in loading vista on it, Vista is horrible. As for graphic arts, there are so many programs you can get for Macs that do graphic design. Now there are games like Call of Duty and Spore that you can buy right at an Apple store and load on your Mac. I think its definitely worth it considering My MacBook Pro has the same specs as the new Macbooks and you’d pay about half of what I paid. 13 inch might be too small, but I like my 15 inch, and would even get a 17 inch because of the awesome screen size. Apple even sells Microsoft Office for Mac now so you’re completely compatible with the school related programs you’d need at college. Vista takes up too much of a computers memory to run (1GB) and OS X uses around half of that. I use many music making programs at once, which wouldn’t run on a PC but my Mac has no problem running them. Yes its worth the money, better parts are used and apple doesn’t use nasty mercury like many PC brands use. Also the shell is made from highly recyclable aluminum so if you do plan to get rid of it in ten years, it can be recycled unlike many pcs. I worked at Best Buy for a few months, everyone complains about Vista and PCs, but every customer that bought a Mac came back to tell me how much they loved their new mac.
The macbook is great because it’s small and easy to travel with. You will need to buy a copy of vista (as oppose to “download” it) and install it on your macbook through Bootcamp.
