There's absolutely no reason what-so-ever as to why you couldn't take up model railroading as a hobby. Speaking as one, I'm sure you'll enjoy it to no end.

Dry cat food is better for your cat. The dry cat food helps to keep her teeth clean. Talk to your vet they will explain all the good things that dry cat food will do.

Birds are relatively clean animals when kept in a cage as they enjoy preening themselves and when tame, taking bathes, it cant do anything good for your bird or you as your going to be sharing germs and the small amount you may consume probably wont do anything to you, the germs in your mouth may be completely different than what your birds immune system fights off at times. Really cant give a definitive answer but that's my 50 cents >.

Well, there is a huge differance. espionage is the covert gathering of information. While terrorism is using the threat of death to coerce change. Be it government or religious in nature.

I don't know who David Hicks but if he broke our laws and will be punished. Al Quaeda answer to no one. The decide they want things a certain way and just go about forcing people to do it by harming others. Plus terrorist like to target non military targets like schools and churches. I have never heard of the CIA doing such things.

just pop in a high GPA, and graduate, get some college education in Basic Law, and apply your heart out.

Be warned, you may need to take more than basic first aid and CPR training, and you'll need gun training, and another part of the police officer training requires you get Maced and Tased, not necessarily in that order, or at the same time.

hplss,

I can tell you from what I observed living in Greece and Japan, and you're right - it is different.

In both Japan and Greece kids wear uniforms to school. The school days are about an hour longer, and they go to school 1/2 day on Saturdays.
The teachers I saw were strict, very strict, and corporal punishment was used when the teachers considered it necessary.

One additional aspect I noted - most of the families were two parent families. The central focus of the family during the week was ensuring the kids completed their homework, and backing the school and educating the children.
